Episode 12 Positive Reinforcement
Recovery is about behavior modification. It is how we save lives, why is it that we do not employ the more effective positive reinforcement method more as apposed to the less effective negative. In this podcast Bruce Wayne discusses many ways in which the fellowships can better utilize positive reinforcement to improve the amount of people working a program. Positive reinforcement has shown it self to be one of the best forms of behavior modification plus adding to the individuals self esteem as they meet the goals set before them.
These are only suggestions, come up with your own ways to use this tool to help people and feel free to post them here.

positive reinforcement is so important! i talk about the fact i’m sober and it doesn’t deem much. if the steps haven’t been done, then we are looked down apon.
who decides when we newbies are allowed to travel to the next step? is our sponsor the only one? i switched sponsors…..
i feel like some are so good at preaching what is to be done but if i wanted what they had…..as in if i were attracted to what “they have” then i’d shoot myself! it is by attraction and not promotion……..as you mentioned if 30 ppl aren’t reading the book, who are we to be attracted to to try to gain what they have? it’s so confusing. plus i hear this program cannot be done alone or the steps are in order for a reason…..so what is right?
