Episode 16 Help Me!

The hardest thing we have to learn to do in recovery is ask for help. It threatens many of our core beliefs that we must know everything to be safe. It makes us feel vulnerable and exposed to others which can be nothing less then horrifying. And yet we are able to do it we will find it is nothing less then courageous.

this episode was the key for me, it was the first one i listened too and truely the reason i called someone up and asked for help for the 1st time in a long one, hearing you say the worst that a person can do is say no made me realize that isnt so bad if it were to happen-i did have to listen to this episode 3 times before i was convinced, but thats only my personal stubborness, but i got over it because you didnt make it complicated, it wasnt hard to convince myself that you made sense
